Does my child need a uniform?
We are an inclusive organisation and do not expect children to wear a specific uniform but recommend wearing comfortable clothing that the children can move well in, as well as socks that are not too slippery if a child does not have ballet shoes.
Are ballet classes for girls only?
All of our classes are of an inclusive nature which is why we invite boys as much as girls to join our classes.
Am I allowed to take photos or videos of my child’s dance class?
Yes, you are welcome to take pictures or videos of your child in class on one of our parents watching days but we kindly ask to keep them for private use only.
Do you offer ballet exams?
We do not do ballet exams as our focus lies on learning in an environment that suits each child individually. We believe that learning can take place best in a safe environment that is free of pressure but full of encouragement and freedom of expression. Every year, however, we celebrate everyone’s achievements in form of a performance for family and friends.
Will there be an opportunity to watch my child’s dance class?
Yes, we invite parents to our regular parents watching days which take place three times a year. They are a lovely opportunity for parents to watch their children in class, see what we have worked on and what the children have learned.
Do I have to stay nearby for the duration of my child’s dance class?
We ask parents to stay near or within the premises, if possible, in case of an emergency.
